CHAPTER FOUR - "HE/SHE"

When I was writing this book, I knew that not only would it be a best-seller
because of its contents, but I also knew most people who follow a religion
would be repelled at what they read.

When I told a friend the title of the book, he corrected me and said, “You
mean ‘If God Could Speak What Would He Say?” My response was that
God is both male and female. Sure, when we talk about the Creator we
always use the pronoun “He” because it is easy, especially easier than
saying “He/She.” The male part of God is the knowledge and wisdom, and
the female part is emotion. Sometimes this female part is referred to as
“Mother Nature.”

How would one describe God in a physical form? When I asked this question, many of the responses were the same. God is an old man with a long white beard who wears a white robe. I cannot comprehend where this description originated. God does not exist in physical form on the “other side,” when and if He/She does appear. The presence is known by all spirits as a purplish cloud or smoke. Purple is the color of this Universe and that is why it is the color of spirituality and healing.

Was there an Adam and Eve? The Bible states that Adam was the first man
on Earth and that Eve was created from a rib from Adam’s body. I must
refute this, for like much of the Bible, the Koran, the sutras of Lord
Buddha, the Torah, they are all based on stories told, stories which were
added to and changed time and time again. But there are many parables in
these holy books. For example, in the case of Adam and Eve, Adam is the
male part of God and Eve is the female part of God. Cain and Abel
represent good and evil.

I had often wondered why Mary, of all young women at that time, was the
one chosen to bear the Christ. I was told that Mary is the female part of
God. Did she know this? Not at the beginning. But it does make sense that
God should be the one to bear the Christ. And Jesus was very attached to
his mother. The mother of Lord Buddha was the same - Mary. I would not
be surprised if Mary was the mother of all of the Four Messengers.

At the back of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City is a small chapel
named “Our Lady Chapel.” I am told that the statue depicting Mary is the
closest to what she actually looked like. Obviously, the sculptor was given
“divine inspiration.” I often go to this chapel, and not because there I can
communicate with Mary. It is the most serene place I have ever experienced.
A feeling of such incredible calm takes over me. I have taken just one friend when I visited this chapel. She also felt peace sitting there, staring at the statue of Mary.

For me, the “immaculate conception” is a fact! Of course, Mary had other
children, but they were sired by Joseph. I have read the Bible in its entirety,
and I can irrevocably state that almost all portions relating to the Christ are the truth. Another chapter of this book will be entirely devoted to Jesus Christ, and it will contain all the information I received from Jesus directly.

Everything in this world is either male or female in gender. Why then is it
so difficult to accept that the Creator of everything is both? Could it be that
this world is “male dominated?” Why in some societies is the female treated like a second-class citizen? Who decided that the male should dominate the female? I believe that this concept of man being better than women goes back to the belief that a man was the first of our race on this planet. Since it was told in the Bible that Eve came from Adam, this is further proof that leads to discrimination among the sexes.

Men and women are to be equal in the sight of God; rich and poor are equal, smart and stupid are equal. But for every plus there is a minus. For black there is white, for up there is down, for fat there is thin. This is the balance of our universe, but when it comes to mankind, each person is equal. Sure, some people have more advantages than others and this alone separates people. But, one result of the Shift will be that all those who survive and remain on Earth will know that each of them is the same as all others. No one is better than anyone else, and that we all have the same goal: to help create a paradise on Earth which is God’s Will.

Whenever someone asks to talk to my “guide,” that person does not know the identity of this entity. I have been very selective as to who I have told that my guide is the Creator. After one reading, a person asked me, “Blake, why does your guide use the pronoun “We” instead of “I.” To answer this I would need to reveal the identity, which I will not do. Mankind must understand that God is a “collective group,” not one “spirit.” This is another reason I refer to God as “He/She.”

CHAPTER THREE - HELPING MANKIND

“I pray that in this life, and in all my incarnations, I do everything I can to help people to understand their worth, to harness their power, to find true
happiness and to reach the Light of Enlightenment.”

This is one of 41 prayers I say each morning, and begin at exactly 4:00AM. I also say parts of the two most important sutras from Lord Buddha. In addition, I pray for 134people who are on this side and 94 dwelling on “the other side.” I mention the name of each one clearly. I believe that all of them benefit from my mentioning their names in prayer, yes, even the deceased. Just because someone has passed on should not mean that we do not pray for that person’s spirit. Of course the spirit benefits from the prayers.

Often spirits will come into my apartment when I pray. I know when my mother is present for she leaves a scent of roses. When she was living she wore a perfume each day named “tea rose.” I imagine that she still does, and she must love passing a rose garden on the other side and smelling them.Sometimes I am visited by Lord Buddha, and I know each time when he is the one saying those sutras and I am not. Nichiren Daishonin, who as I said I know is the name that God had when He/She lived that one life on Earth, would pray both night and day by stating the same prayers I use every day. Of course, his student, life-long companion and high priest, Nikko Shonin,
was with him and said those prayers with him.

As I mentioned, some of those 41 prayers were given to me directly by God
through my friend, the medium. The first series of 13 prayers, of which the
one stated at the beginning of this chapter, I wrote with what I am sure was
through divine inspiration.

I once asked God whether I was going crazy, and I was told that everything
that I am going through, is because I have the soul of Nikko Shonin. The
answer I received was “You are not that smart.”

What is the meaning of the prayer I stated at the beginning? One of my
missions in this life is to help people, which should be the same mission for
every person on this planet. How can I help them to understand their worth?

Many people have low self-esteem. They must realize that to God we are all the same. I try to show them that each of them is worth living; otherwise why would they have helped to choose the life they have? How can I them to harness their power? How do they harness the power that each of them has within - the power they were born with. This is done through prayer, by requesting that God help them to achieve what it is they want in their lives. What is the source of that power? How do I help them to find true happiness, and how do I help them to reach the light of Enlightenment, whatever that is? Of course, I cannot do this myself; I have the help of God when I meet with people. God speaks to them through me.

Understand that I will never put myself at the same level as God’s Four
Messengers, and that the only reason I was selected of all on Earth is, once
again, because I carry the soul of Nikko Shonin. This must be impressed to
all you readers.

Many who come to me have low self-esteem, create and put out negative
energy, do not think that they can change their lives. The very first step to
becoming enlightened is to like, no - love - yourself. How can one go to
that first step? There is a very simple exercise everyone can do every
morning. Look at your face in a mirror and repeat “I like myself. No, I
love myself.” Repeat that 15 times each day. If you do not have a mirror to look into, just repeat the words. At the beginning it will be just words coming out from your mouth. But, after a while, you will begin to believe it.

To you, you are the most important person in the world. Is that ego? Of course, but if you do not love yourself first, you cannot love another. You cannot find true happiness from that of another. It has to come from within. Yes, I know that to all mothers their children come first in their lives. I say that the mothermust come first, because she sets an example for her children.

Compare a negative person to a positive person. Compare a complainer to
one who never complains. What is the better example for a child?

Husbands and wives often stay together even though they have developed
into wanting different things in their lives. They remain together usually for
the sake of the children. Is that right? Of course not. A child does not want
to be witness to parents who argue all the time. I believe that many are
beginning to understand that for the divorce rate in the United States is at an
all-time high. I do not perceive this to be negative but positive. Each one of
us should have self-worth. We helped to select the life we have for a
reason: to experience and learn, even through suffering and pain, as I have
done. We are all equal in the “eyes” of the Creator. After all, we were
created in “His/Her” image.

One of my closest friends, who I will call “Judy” is a very successful businesswoman. Because of her talent in the world of business, she has become quite wealthy. Both she and her husband lived what one would consider “charmed” lives. Dining in expensive restaurants, traveling around the world, jewels and furs, this was their live. Then the inevitable happened. Her husband became quite ill, and at the time of this writing there is talk of putting him in a “home” where he will get the necessary 24 hour attention. Of course, this situation is very draining on Judy. Her “charmed” life was over and reality set in. It is extremely hard for her to cope now. What she will never understand, but her husband does and agrees, that his illness he caused himself, and did it for her. She had to get a glimpse of what life can really be like. No more dining in fine restaurants. No more travel. Now her primary concern is his welfare and what will happen to him.

Whatever problems we have in life we cause. Whatever illnesses we succumb to we created ourselves. But why would we do this? We do it to teach a lesson to those we love, a lesson that could never be learned if illness did not exist. And we all are here to experience and learn. Most people feel that God causes what happens in our lives, and often one will hear “God, why did you do this to me? I was always a good person and now I am sick, poor, out of work, divorced.” They cannot understand that God is not the one to do this to us. We do it to ourselves. So, why then doesn’t God interfere and make all the wrongs right? If that were done we would never learn or help others we are close to to learn.

For me, this is most difficult to explain to people who come to talk to my guide through me. How can one face the fact that whatever is happening in their lives they did it to themselves? It is human nature to blame others, but never to look at oneself and say “I caused this, so how can I undo it?” Can it be undone? Of course, it can. In prayer, when one tells God that he or she is responsible for the illness being experienced and understand that it was done to help someone else, God, in His/Her infinite compassion will help. Never wallow in self-pity. Realize that you caused what sadness you have to face.

After being married 10 years, and for all that time wanting a child, Andrew and Kathy could not have one. Both of them went through every test possible and the results were always the same. There was nothing physically wrong with either of them. So, why couldn’t Kathy conceive? Finally, in their 11th year of marriage, Kathy became pregnant. Of course, she and Andrew were thrilled beyond words. But when the child was born, their joy turned to sadness, for their baby was born blind. How could this have happened? They prayed every day for a healthy child. “Why did God do this to us?” they questioned. God did not do this to them. Their child was born blind for a reason, since there always is a reason for everything that happens in life. A friend of theirs gave the explanation that the child was born blind so he could not see all the suffering in the world. They did not accept that, and both of them came to me for guidance.

I first explained that their child had helped to choose that life, knowing it would be spent in darkness. This was the only way he could experience and learn a lesson he could not have learned had he not been blind. And, both his parents also were taught a lesson because of their child’s inability to see. I remember that we three talked for almost two hours and then they both asked to speak to my “guide.” What I had told them was confirmed, and my guide had told them to feel blessed and not cursed with a child who had this affliction. They both left my apartment with a new understanding and could now understand the “joy in suffering.”

Each of us is constantly being tested by the original source of energy of this Universe, God, and I know that in order to help my fellow man I must bear witness to their tests. Two neighbors, one who lives in the same building as I do and the other has an apartment in the building next to mine, and owned by the same company, I had tried to befriend. Sadly, I found that eventually my friendship to them they denied because they passed judgment on me. I try never to judge anyone for I do not want to be judged. As a result of their actions towards me they have changed their destiny, and now I doubt that either of them will survive the Shift. Am I angry because I am now shunned by both? No, for I can only feel disappointment that they failed the test placed before them. I know that one of my missions in this life and all my past ones was to be of help to all when I can, and I make every attempt to do just that. Sadly, I cannot, nor would I ever, control the actions of others. People make their own choices, for that is what Free Will is all about.

Each one of us is constantly being “tested” by God. In any given situation, a person will react differently than others would. And with every test, there usually is a lesson to be learned. One of my closest friends went on vacation, and while she was away her apartment was burglarized. The news was relayed to her while she was in a foreign country enjoying herself. Of course, my friend was very upset about the situation, and she wondered whether she should end her vacation earlier and return home. I explained to her that God is testing her to discover what she will do. She was enjoying her vacation in a country in which she had never been. I explained that if she went home what could she do? The occurrence was already in the past and nothing was going to change that. When her holiday ended, there was time to face the results of the robbery. Fortunately, she listened to me, finished her holiday and upon her return home took care of what she had to do relating to the robbery. She “passed the test”

Do I practice what preach? One day I left my apartment, and because there was much on my mind, I forget the keys. I discovered this upon my return home. I telephoned the building superintendent, who is part-time working in my building, since he has a full time job during the day. To make matters worse, it was a Sunday. When I called his cell phone, I received a message that it was out or order. Now, I had two choices: to have someone break down the door or to call a locksmith. I called a locksmith, and I was told someone would be there within 30 minutes. He arrived 25 minutes after my telephone call, drilled through the cylinder (which took 2 minutes) and charged me $152.00!!! He would not accept a check, and of course, I did not have that amount of cash on me. I gave him my debit card, knowing full well that there was not enough money in my checking account. The following day, I telephoned the bank to explain what had happened and requested that the money be transferred from my savings account to my checking account. I did that to cover the locksmith charge, but it was too late and I was to be charged an additional $35.00 for a bank fee. Now, I was out $187.00, which at that time was a small fortune for me. For about two minutes I was upset. After all, I am human! But I knew that God was testing me. With that understanding, I accepted what happened, knowing that I would never forget my keys again. I considered myself fortunate that I had the money in my savings account. What would have happened had I not?

This is another example of changing something negative into something positive. I could not change what had happened, and being upset and filled with despair over the money it cost me would not solve anything. The owner of the building knew what had happened, so I assumed that either that night or the following day the part-time superintendent would come to replace the lock on the door. I could not leave my apartment; if I closed the door I would not be able to reopen it and I would be locked out again. It was days that I was a prisoner in my apartment.

I do believe that in many ways I am “enlightened,” but like Lord Buddha, the one thing I will never be able to understand is human nature. Because that superintendent chose to ignore my situation, when he passes on his soul will be condemned to the “gray area” on the other side. There is nothing I can do about that.

How can I be of help to mankind when most people are never satisfied with what they have? Is it human nature to want more? Why people cannot look at each day of their life as a “miracle,” a time to experience and to learn, I do not understand. Many of my neighbors speak negatively about the company which owns the building in which I live and 2 other buildings adjacent to mine. They all pay in rent each month a fraction of what their apartments are worth on the rental market. Yet, they will find any excuse to complain. I have given up trying to make them understand that the owner is not the “devil” they feel it is. I have always been on the side of what is fair, and my feeling is that the owner has been more than fair. I am very fortunate to have been witness to its kindness. But, once again, people are never satisfied with what they have. If they were, they could find true happiness.

Most people feel that it is God whose job is to help mankind. That is not the way it works. When the Supreme Source of this Universe gave man “Free Will,” we were left to our own devices. We were to help each other, one request God asks of us, and one which we have miserably failed to do as an entire Earth population. Every one of us has missions to complete in each of our lives on Earth. One of these missions is the same for all of us. We are here to help each other. That is the reason why in almost every life we have we tend to meet the same “people.” We do this because of an agreement made on the “other side” that in order to help to complete that mission and also to reduce the bad karma we create in each life, we are to work together.

There is a misconception that God is perfect. Another of the many prayers I say every morning is “…….You [God] possess the three enlightened attributes of parent, teacher and sovereign. Your immense mercy transcends past, present and future and lead all people to enlightenment.” Yes, God is our teacher, but He/She is also a student, learning from us. He/She learns from every experience we have in each life and the decisions we make. By helping man, we try to assist people in reaching their destiny. Destiny is not shown when a soul helps to make a decision regarding the life to be born into. The reason for this is that one’s destiny is not set in concrete.

How does a person change his or her destiny? To answer this question, an example is to be provided here. One day a neighbor of mine came to talk with my spirit guide. She was told that the business she is trying to get off the ground will be successful, and was given a time frame for the success. Naturally, she was pleased at what she was told, but her destiny was changed when she made a wrong decision about something. God does not control our destiny; our spirit guides do not control our destiny. Each of us is responsible for that. I tried to help her, and before she made the decision I advised her not to get involved in the life of another. She did not listen, and the result will alter the course of her life.

One of my responsibilities is to help mankind, but I cannot force my advice on anyone, for we each have “Free Will.” I am fortunate for I know what my destiny is to be, and I am doing everything I can to make sure that nothing I do will change that.

CHAPTER TWO - THE SHIFT

Does God ever make a mistake? Some of us may feel He/She does when we look at the condition of the world today. But, the Creator of this Universe knew exactly what was to happen when we were given “Free Will.” God’s plan was to make the Earth the “school” of this Universe, and what better place to learn than one wrought with suffering. God will very rarely interfere with the paths of our lives, for we create all the problems we face, and hopefully learn from the decisions we make. But, now it has reached a point where man has gone to far, and the annihilation of our planet is quite probable, and not because of global warming, terrorism, greed and avarice, but because of the combination of all. Many people feel that Armageddon is approaching. God does not want mankind to destroy what He/She created. How could God destroy something created with love? But the Creator does not want mankind to destroy this planet. It is time for our Supreme Being to step in and put a stop to our destroying this planet. What then is God’s plan?

Natural catastrophes are occurring all the time all over the world: the destruction of New Orleans by floods, the tidal waves in Phuket, Thailand,
the fires in California. The weather all over the world is changing. All of
this is evidence of the coming of “The Shift.” Now, what does that mean?
Firstly, the energy level of the Earth is changing, and aliens are very well
aware of this happening. Secondly, the axis of the Earth will shift to such a
degree that it will be of catastrophic proportion to the Earth. Billions of
people will “die” in a matter of seconds.

There will be warnings which were given to me by my guide. I was told that these warnings are exactly the same as were given to Ruth Montgomery, a famous woman known for automatic writing, years ago.

The weather will become increasingly violent, with heavy snowfalls, strong gales, and increased humidity. There will be rumblings beneath the Earth, and the trees will sway. Shortly before the actual Shift, there will be two specific types of warnings: the eruption of volcanoes in Mediterranean islands, South America and California will result in pestilence, and shortly thereafter earth tremors of major proportions, affecting wide land masses in northern Europe, Asia and South America, which will provide tidal waves of monumental scope. These, then, will be the forerunners of the Shift itself, and for days and nights beforehand the Earth will seem to rock gently.

God is very unhappy with mankind. When we were given “Free Will” we
had one of two paths to follow, and we followed the wrong one. Free Will was the result of the construction of the Tower of Babel, for once the tower was completed people began to speak in different languages and could not
communicate with each other. In a previous life, I was Nimrod, who was
the architect of the tower. When I was told this by my guide, I was upset for
I felt I did something wrong - something that affected humanity. My guide
told me that I did exactly what I was supposed to do. Now, God has sat by
since giving us free will, not interfering in our lives and making our own
choices.

Sadly, with the advent of money came corruption and disharmony. “Money is the root of all evil,” is so true for as we seek power we seek money and control. God, in our lives, has become less important than the “buck.” The concept of “keeping up with the Jones’s” is quite disturbing because people now are not satisfied with what they have. They want more and more. When is “enough” enough?

God has no choice but to step in now, and this will be done with The Shift.
He/She does not want us to destroy this planet, which we are doing each
day, little by little. What will the results of the Shift be? All evil will be
destroyed at one time and only the good will survive. Will God judge who
lives and who dies? No. God does not make judgment on anyone. We judge
ourselves every day of our lives, so by now each of us should have a good
idea whether we will survive The Shift or not.

Preparations for The Shift have been going on for quite a while on “the
other side.” I have been told that I am one of the 100 Guardians of the Earth.
I know that all the Guardians, when they sleep, go to the “other side” to help

in the preparation of the impending Shift. Each of us is responsible for a
team of spirits who work on one facet in the preparations of the Shift. My
life is really not my own, for I live to work on the “other side.” My life is
in death. To have billions of souls arrive at almost the same time has never
happened to any planet in our universe. So, the processing of all who arrive
must be dealt with easily and swiftly. Those of you readers who have very
strange sleeping habits, and when you do sleep you dream constantly and
usually remember many of the dreams you have had, it is possible that
you are one of the hundred Guardians of the Earth and have a great
responsibility to God. Each one of us has been selected as a result of the
experiences we have had in prior lives, in addition to the lessons our souls
have learned. Of course, each of us has total faith in and a love for God and
we all follow the Golden Rule.

The dreams are created to occupy your brain while the soul is at work.
When I awake after being on “the other side,” I never can remember what I experienced there. But, the night of February 20-21, 2007 I awoke after sleeping 8 hours and I remembered everything. I never have a “problem” falling asleep; I am asleep about 5 minutes after I am in my bed. I went to sleep at my usual time - 7:00PM - and awoke at 3:30AM just in time to say my prayers, which I always begin at 4AM. That morning of February 21st was very different, for I recalled everything that happened to me when I went to “the other side” to work.

The “dream” was in color; I found myself in a beautiful garden, filled with flowers of such vivid colors, and the scent was so incredible. I started to walk toward a huge building, Grecian looking with tall marble columns. This building felt very familiar to me. As I walked into the building I saw what must have been 100 doors (I did not count them) to both the right and left of a very long hallway. A man who I guessed was in his early thirties met me, saying “Hi, how are you? I responded that I am fine and asked him the same question. He said “I am dead.“ I told him that I knew that. He escorted me to one of those doors, and he said “This is the room of which you are in charge.” I told him that his escorting me was not necessary since I knew which door to enter. When I entered I saw perhaps 100 desks with a person seated at each one. On each desk were piles of papers. There was only one desk unoccupied, so I sat down. I looked around and saw both my mother and sister working diligently. Everyone in that room appeared to be in their early 30’s in age. In fact, every “person” in that room was very serious about whatever he or she was doing, yet there was joy which filled that room. I could feel the camaraderie amongst everyone there.

In front of me at my desk were two reams of paper. Every piece of paper there was filled with names, and the names were written in different languages, but I could read them. Next to each name was the country of birth and then a space to be filled in. I knew immediately what I was to do. One ream of paper had the names of those who will arrive at the time of the Shift. The other ream had the names of the “spirits” who will be assigned to each of those who are to be deceased. My job, and the job of every spirit in that room, was to assign a spirit to each of them.

I remember wanting to have a cup of coffee, which appeared “out of nowhere.” And it was exactly the way I like my coffee - with half and half and 2 teaspoons of sugar. As I was working, many of those in the room came to me for direction. I then knew then that there were exactly 100 rooms, each having a “supervisor” who is a Guardian of the Earth. There was communication not only between myself but others were “talking” to each other, yet their mouths were not moving. All communication was done telepathically. And the language spoken by all was Aramaic, which I understood.
I do not know how much time has passed until before me stood Moses, Lord Buddha, Jesus Christ and Muhammad. Jesus said to me “Blake, this is not a dream, and when you awake you will remember everything that is happening here, and that is the reason for our visit. There was no need for each of them to announce who they are for I knew. They all appeared to be in their early thirties, and they all told me that I had communicated with each of them before. Jesus told me that he and I “talk” often. They all said that the time was right for me to write the book for mankind should know the truth, whether they believe it or not.

When I awoke at 3:30AM I was filled with such joy that I cried.

When will the Shift occur? Ruth Montgomery, whose spirit guides communicated with her through a process of automatic writing, was given the year 2012 as the date of the Shift. Traces of the Mayan civilization’s calendars etched on the walls of ruins do not go passed the year 2012. Through telepathic communication, I was also given that year for the catastrophe. But now I am not so sure. I do believe that once all the preparation work on the “other side” is completed, the Shift will occur. That would mean it could happen before 2012.

Now, what happens to those who survive The Shift? What can they expect?
They will all be given a choice: they can either stay and help to rebuild the
Earth and make it the paradise it was originally created to be, or with the
help of aliens go to other planets which will sustain life. I know that I will
remain because I am one of the 100 Guardians of the Earth.

Naturally, all babies will survive the Shift. Infants still have the ability to communicate with “the other side.” They also have the ability to see spirits. As a baby matures, the “gift” God has given to all of us we lose for we do not use it, we do not know we have it and we are preoccupied with survival in a world full of evil. Many children will also survive - those who have not exhibited evil wrongdoings prior to the Shift. Many adult survivors will care for these babies and children, since most of their parents will perish once the Shift occurs. Will you survive? To answer this question requires total honesty on your part. If you have not intentionally caused sadness or hurt in someone else’s life, you will survive. You will be your own judge as to your survival. God will have nothing to do with this.

At first, life on Earth will be difficult for those who stay. All modern conveniences will not be available anymore, and we all will work hard and diligently, but we will work together in peace. No more discrimination. No more emotions like anger, jealousy, desire. We all will be equal and one with God. We will succeed for in millions of years from the time of the Shift we will have paradise on Earth. That is what God intended us to have, and we will make it happen, not God.

Will those who survive and decide to help to rebuild Earth be given rewards from the Creator? The first of these “gifts” will be the ability to telepathically communicate with “the other side.” The barrier between the two dimensions will forever disappear, and we all will be able to “talk” to our dearly departed, in addition to telepathically communicating with anyone on Earth. The “gift” that I have will be given to about one billion people. A second “gift” that God will give us is to be free of illness and disease. All diseases will disappear; people will not get sick, other than from the “common” cold. I know that my diseased heart will be mended, and it will be as if I never had heart problems. So, if we are rid of sickness and disease, what will be the cause of our death? Each of us will decide when it is time for us to take that final step to the other dimension. For people to live well passed one hundred years will be a usual occurrence. Of course, our bodies will begin to decay, and no one will want to live when his or her flesh begins to fall off from age.

How long will paradise exist on Earth once the Earth is rebuilt? I am told that true happiness for all will last millions of years, but there will come a time in the distant future when all it will take will be the bad thoughts or actions of one person to start the chain reaction leading, once again, to evil. At that time our Creator will destroy our planet, and even though the Shift will have an affect on the entire universe, the destruction of this planet will affect our universe one hundred fold. There is a specific “beat” to our universe, which is alive, and were that beat to change because of the loss of one planet, that would wreck havoc on the entire universe, for all planets will be affected. Remember, as all life is one with God, so is our universe.

What will be the effect of the Shift on “the other side?” Because billions of
people will perish at almost the same time, that will cause few bodies for
souls to inhabit. It will be the fortunate soul who has the opportunity to be
reborn on Earth. But there are so many other planets in our Universe in
which our soul can be reborn. And because we will be born into the form of
the aliens who inhabit each planet, there will be no difficulties in adapting
to an environment different from the Earth. I am quite certain that many of
you have had prior lives on other planets. Why can’t we remember all the
lives we have had? Our brain, right now, could not handle all that
information, but as time goes on the power of our brain will increase. I read
somewhere that we only use between 3-5% brain power. Can you imagine
if we used ten times that amount?

When will the Shift take place? How much time do we have left? Ruth
Montgomery’s guides had stated that the Shift will occur around the year
2012, which in all probability is a good date. Ruins of the Mayan civilization revealed calendars created by the Mayans, but there were no calendars etched that passed the year 2012. The Mayans received their information from aliens who lived among them, but the aliens did not intend their words to be interpreted to mean the destruction of the Earth. They knew that in 2012 the energy level of our planet will change, that the negative energy being created continues to increase the density of this planet, and “The Source” (we call “God”) will change the energy in 2012. How is all negative energy created? Evil thoughts, evil deeds, evil actions have made our world a “heavy one.” Alien civilizations are very well aware that the God of this Universe is a god of love, that He/She is a “Creator” not a “Destroyer.“ But many people are also changing for the positive by becoming more spiritual and believe in the existence of the original energy of this Universe: God.
The map of the world will change. Continents like Atlantis and Lemuria will rise again, and much of the land which exists now will be gone. I heard that Atlantis was located in the area which we call Antarctica. Lemuria was located where the Polynesian islands now exist. But remember that wherever you are, if you are a good person, you will survive.

Do five billion people go to “Hell?” There is no such place on “the other
side.” When asked to describe Hell, most people would say that it is a very
hot place filled with fire and brimstone. On the contrary, there is a level of
existence which is hazy, gloomy with spirits wandering aimlessly. We could
label this “Hell.“ I prefer to use the words “The land of no hope.“ Most
spirits do not dwell in this place for an eternity. Each spirit has guides who
help that soul to understand and accept the bad it had done while alive, and
eventually will be able to move out of that dreary environment. So, if there
is no Hell, is there a Heaven? I prefer to use the word “Paradise.” Buddhists use the term “Nirvana,” which is a description of the level in
which God dwells, and it should be the goal of mankind that every life
with the hope that the next one will be in Nirvana, being one with the
Creator.

Sadly, people like Adolph Hitler are still there in the “land of no hope” for he cannot accept the fact that what he did was bad for he did it for the love of his country, Germany. But his spirit’s guides have not given up. They will continue to work with “Adolph”, and hopefully there will come a time when that spirit can move on.

There are “dark entities” which take human form. Their mission in every life is to wreck havoc in this world, to intentionally go out of the way to be hurtful to their fellow man. Life after life, they do the same. This is their mission, and, of course, because God does not interfere with our every day living, these dark entities are very often successful. They prey on the weak, those who have very little faith and hope. Can a dark entity change? If one of them accepts God and is heard by just one person, then the next life will be one of light and not darkness. In this lifetime, I have known four dark entities. This awareness comes not only from a form of enlightenment but also one of the many prayers I say every morning.

God is looking for a way to end the suffering in this world. He/She has “sat by” without interfering in our lives long enough. Now He/She must do something - the Shift is the only solution. And I have seen much of the suffering on this Earth. I have been to India several times, and more often than not I was very sad at the plight of those who live in that country. There are two experiences I had, both in Kolkatta, which I will never forget and were perfect examples of the suffering of the Indian people.

One time I was there to have my visa for Thailand renewed. I had stayed in the hotel which was shown in the film “The City of Joy.” By taxi one morning, I went to the Thai Consulate for my visa renewal. Getting there was not a problem, but returning was. When I left the Consulate there was taxis in sight, so I opt to return to the hotel by being transported in a rickshaw walla. This is a carriage on two wheels which is pulled by a human being. Having seen “The City of Joy,” silly me assumed that the men who pulled these carriages spoke English. That is not the case. I approached 5 men who just stared at me when I announced the name of the hotel. The sixth one nodded, so I believed he recognized the hotel name and knew its location. Was I wrong, for he literally pulled me throughout the city of Kolkatta for one and a half hours, stopping frequently to douse himself with water from hydrants. At that time my weight was 240 and that man pulling me weighed, I would venture to say, 90 pounds. Because of the caste system in India he could not ask directions from anyone other than another man pulling a rickshaw. Finally, with God’s help, he found the hotel. I felt such empathy for him that I gave him ten times the amount of the fare we had agreed upon. He looked at all the money and tears came into his eyes. I am a “softy,” and when I see that my eyes also well up with water. The way that man suffers every day of his life is very depressing to me.

Another time I visited Kolkatta, again I experienced suffering. While in Bangkok, I decided to give of myself to others who needed help, so I wrote a letter to Mother Theresa at the Missionaries of Charity expressing my desire to volunteer my services. She wrote me back, and to this day I still have her letter, inviting me to come to Kolkatta and meet with the nun in charge of volunteers.

The morning after my arrival in that city in India I taxied to the Missionaries of Charity. It is a circular building, and from the street I could not find the entrance. A young Indian man saw that I was looking for entry, so he approached me and said “I help you.” He grabbed onto my arm to show me the way. It was then I realized that leprosy had eaten away at his fingers. Seeing that, I immediately recoiled and became very embarrassed for I knew that leprosy was not a contagious disease. I saw the look on his face, and I felt even worse. I said “I am so sorry.”

He brought me to the entry door and when I walked in I showed the letter I received from Mother Theresa and was escorted into a small library room to wait for the nun in charge of all the volunteers. This room was one of many facing a courtyard wherein Mother Theresa sat with large lights upon her. She was being interviewed. I watched for a few minutes and then returned to the library. About 10 minutes later, Mother Theresa walked into the library room and saw me sitting there. In front of me stood a short, stocky woman who spoke with a European accent. Her appearance in that room was as if the sun came out. It was an incredible feeling, and I knew that here, standing before me, was a true Messenger from God.

She asked if she could help me, so I showed her the letter she had sent to me. She sat down right next to me and put her arm around my shoulders. She looked right into my eyes and said words that I will never forget: “My son, if you cannot do the work here, please do not be unhappy. The want to do is as important as the doing.” Immediately I thought, “what was I in for?” Five minutes after she left, the nun in charge came into the library room. We chatted for a bit and I was told that female volunteers are assigned to care for children in orphanages and the men are assigned to work in Kalighat, which I found out was “The Home for the Dying.” It was decided that I would work the morning shift, for I felt it would be too hot in the afternoon.

The following morning I returned to the Missionaries of Charity, and with other volunteers was taken by mini-van to Kalighat. Tears now well in my eyes when I recall what I saw. Hundreds of Indians, all laying on mats and all dying. Many of them were lepers, and because so much of their bodies were eaten away it was difficult to distinguish the sex of each person. I was told by one of the nuns that some of these people walk for many miles to get there for they do not want to die in the streets.

That morning I worked for four hours, and when I returned to my hotel I sat and cried and cried for hours. I telephoned my Thai partner and told him I was returning to Bangkok. He said “I knew you could not do it.” I could not for I have never seen such suffering and death in one place. I could not handle that. I then recalled what Mother Theresa had said to me, and I did feel a bit better. I imagine she knew what to say for many well-intentioned volunteers cannot do the work. I so admire those who can stay and help those people to die comfortably. But it does take a strong will (and stomach) to be able to continue working at Kalighat.

Can’t an alien civilization which is very advanced stop the Shift from happening? Yes, it can, but it won’t. The “law of interference” prevents this. It will not interfere with a decision made by the Creator, a decision which has been known for a very long time by many alien civilizations. Of course, their concern is its affect on their own worlds.

Am I looking forward to the Shift? Yes, of course I am, even though I know how difficult life will be for quite a while. The pluses far outweigh the minuses - no more suffering from sickness or disease, everyone being kind to each other, a world devoid of hatred and discrimination. We all will be “One with God.” When discussing the movement of the axis of the Earth with a friend who lives in India, her reaction was that she knows she will surive, but does she want to? That surprised me, to say the least. She was thinking of how difficult it will be to live after the Shift. My reaction was that those who survive will be doing the work of God, and how can we not want to spend the rest of our lives doing that?

I, for one, want to repay God for all the goodness He/She has given to me. As difficult as my life has been, I know that those difficulties would be one hundred fold without God’s protection. I was faced with death a few times, yet I am still here. Even being aware of the date of my death, I know that once my mission in this life is accomplished, I no longer need to exist in this life, and that is okay for I have not only been to “the other side” often, only once can I remember what I saw, and that one time is enough for me to know that what awaits me is truly wonderful.

I am not a believer in what most of the Bible relates. To me, the Bible, like the Koran, represents many parables. But, when it writes of Jesus Christ, most of what is related is true. In Revelations, we are told that God has promised there will be an end to the suffering of this world and that will happen with the Second Coming. The Christ will return at the time of the Shift of the Earth’s axis.

CHAPTER ONE

CHAPTER ONE

THE GREATEST CHANGE IN MY LIFE
I should really start with my first communication with “the other side.” It was sometime in 1998, and I was doing my morning prayers. My partner was asleep at the time, but I did tell him what happened. His grandmother, who had died 2 years before, came to me to ask me to do something for her.

This was my first telepathic communication. What she asked me to do would have required a lot of money to do, but she said that someday I will have more money than I know with what to do. I am still waiting; when the money does come the very first expense will be to fulfill her request of me. When my partner awoke and I told him that his grandmother spoke to me, he was angry because she communicated with me and not with him. He believed that she spoke to me. That first communication opened a new world to me - the world on “the other side.” Thereafter, all I had to do was to think of someone and I was communicating with that person. I remember that for those first few weeks I was spending more time talking to “the dead” than to the living. It was as if the wall dividing both dimensions did not exist anymore for me. This one incident changed the course of my life, and once again, I knew it was a signpost.

Now, we all have “spirit guides.” Unfortunately, most of us cannot communicate with them, but that does not mean that they are not with us all the time. I have discovered that instinct is the way they communicate with those who are unable to telepathically do this. If you “feel” something is right to do, then do it, for that feeling is given to you by your spirit guides. It is when we agonize before we make a decision than the result is usually unsuccessful.

My very first guide was my dad, who had died in 1966. When I told a close friend of mine about this, a woman who is psychic and a medium, she said that my father must love me very much to want to be my guide. I remember crying when she said this, for all those years of hatred for him disappeared and the love I felt for him I will never forget.

I remember once tutoring a young woman who was preparing to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language, for she wanted to get her Masters Degree from an American university. As she was doing the part of the test which requires reading a passage and selecting an answer from multiple choice, my dad told me how many she would get wrong, so I graded the testeven before she finished it. When I gave her the total score she asked me how I did that since she had just finished the test. I did not explain that the answer was given to me by my spirit guide.

My dad was my guide for a very short period of time, for he said that another will come very soon and will be the only guide I will ever have until the day I pass on to “the other side.” My guide is the Creator of this Universe, commonly referred to as “God.” Of course, this was difficult for me to accept for what made Blake Cooper so special that he became one whose guide is God? A few days after the initial conversation with Him/Her, I received a telephone call from my friend, the medium, who told me that my guide had given her special prayers for me to say every morning. Of course, she believed in the identity of my guide. I wanted those prayers as soon as possible, so I got into a taxi and went to her office, which I had never been to before. Fortunately, the taxi driver found the building almost immediately, a great accomplishment for my ability to converse in Thai at that time was not good. My friend had typewritten the prayers and handed the paper to me. To this day I still have that original paper with the prayers, and of course, now I know then “by heart.”

For the information of the reader, I will state them now:

I am loving, I am courage and I am confident. I now achieve and am now experiencing a truly loving, a truly joyous, a truly victorious life of loving ichinen and loving, joyous itai doshin.

I HEREBY AFFIRM THAT THIS IS SO.

It was during the middle of the year 2000 that I kept getting emails from my older sister telling me that she was so tired all the time because she had to care for her husband, who was on dialysis three times a week. The thought entered my mind about returning to the States and staying with her to help. I knew that her mission in this life was that of “caregiver”, like she had done when I was a baby, and she needed some assistance. BUT I was not sure what to do for I had already spent 14 years in Bangkok and it was my home.

I remember that one morning as I was praying, I actually heard the voice of my guide. This was the very first time I had heard His/Her voice. He/She said “Go back to America.” And so, I returned the beginning of the fourth week in December of 2000. I know my sister was happy that I returned. On January 2, 2001,with pains in my chest, I was admitted to the local hospital and a few days later had my first open-heart surgical procedure. Then I knew why my guide told me to return, for had I stayed in Thailand I would have died. I had no medical coverage and could not afford open heart surgery there. And so, this was the second time God saved me, the first from the polio epidemic and now from having a major heart attack.

I was hospitalized 1 month, and my sister was very busy completing all the forms to get me Medicaid coverage. She was wonderful for I was approved and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical bills were submitted to Medicaid and paid. Had it not been for her efforts I do not know what would have happened. She certainly took “care” of me, yet once again.

Unfortunately, I developed a staff infection in my right leg and for months I suffered in unimaginable pain. Yet throughout my stay in the hospital and intense pain I continued praying every morning. In fact, I had the Gohonzon in its cabinet, called a budsudan, moved to my hospital room. I never gave up faith and hope, for my love for and faith in God was at a maximum, and still is to this day.A visiting nurse would come to my sister’s home each morning to change the bandages on the infected leg, and I did have painkillers, which did help a bit.

In October of 2001 it was back to the hospital for a second open-heart operation. The first one had replaced the mitral valve and I had a triple by-pass; the second one resulted in replacement of the aortic valve and closing a small opening in my heart, which was not seen the first time. One month again in the hospital, the Gohonzon with me.

Ever since January of 2001 I have been hospitalized on 7 occasions, one including back surgery, for I had pain in my lower back and after an MRI it was suggested that surgery be performed. The most recent stay resulted from my sugar level dropped to 35. For over 5 years I have suffered, but I never gave up and continued praying.

Living with my sister and her husband was very difficult for me, for even though they did love each other their life together was based on “bickering.” So, after the second open heart operation I decided to go to live in an adult home, and the administrator of the home in which I eventually went to live came to the hospital to interview me. My first question to her was “Of all the residents living there, how many have mental problems.” Her answer was “Very few.” Of course she had lied as I discovered when I went to live there. I shared a room with a man who was not only obsessive-compulsive but also schizophrenic. Of course, I still continued praying every morning in addition to chanting, but living with so many mentally disturbed people had a negative affect on me, and I became depressed. I remember that one day when my sister and brother-in-law came to visit me I had said to my sister that “I wanted to die.” She translated that into “I am going to kill myself,” and before I knew it 2 men in white appeared and by ambulance took me to the hospital. As I waited in the Emergency Room, a woman approached me to talk. I discovered she is a psychiatrist and she offered to see me and incredibly she accepted my Medicaid, which is most unusual for a psychiatrist to do. And so I started to see her once a week.I told her everything - about my introduction to the “other side”, that I have a spirit guide (without revealing who that is).

I remember the time when I was living in Thailand I asked my guide why was I chosen - I am not a “Messenger” as was Moses, Lord Buddha, the Christ or Muhammad. He/She responded that I had the soul of Nikko Shonin, who was Nichiren Daishonin’s high priest and lived with him many years, taking care of him. I knew that Nikko had been a student of the Daishonin and was about 20 years younger.

I was also told that the similarities between Nikko and Blake were astounding. It seemed that in every life I had between that of Nikko and the one I have at present had that same soul, and each life was tested. At that time I did not know the reason for the testing; this I discovered later on.Naturally, I found all this difficult to accept. I told the psychiatrist of all the unexplainable events which happened to me when I was living in Thailand.

I never had to wait for a taxi, even during the busiest time of the day. I had the ability to stop the telephone from ringing, just by requesting it. I discovered everything in this world (and in fact the Universe) is connected and we are all one with God. I relayed the “cockroach story” to her, which, when told, sounds like the rantings of a madman.

One day as I was in the kitchen of my apartment in Bangkok, washing dishes, I felt something brush on my left elbow. I looked down and it was a cockroach. Now, understand that the roaches in Thailand are huge, have wings and fly. I quickly jerked my arm away and started to watch the roach. In fact, I sat on a chair outside the kitchen watching this roach. I had the feeling that I was being tested. The roach walked across the wall of the kitchen and entered the dining area. I told the roach that I would open the front door and he can leave the apartment. If it stayed it would die - not that I would kill it, because I do not believe in killing anything that lives. The roach started walking toward the open door and as it approached the door it stopped, as if it was making a decision as to what to do.

Unfortunately, it did not leave the apartment but continued to walk. I told it that it would eventually fall on its back and that I would not help it - the results would be its death, since the roach would be unable to turn over. It walked up the wall, fell on its back and lay on the dining area floor. I sat in that chair for hours until it eventually died.I decided to pray for the roach while I flushed it down the toilet, for I believe that in doing so the next life the roach would have could be as a human. I telephoned my friend, the medium, explained what happened and she said that she would come to my apartment and pray with me. And that is exactly what we did as I flushed it down. It was about a year later that another roach came into my apartment - this one was sick. I am certain that it came to my home because it knew I would pray for it upon its death, which of course is what I did.

I also told the psychiatrist the “blood story.” When it happened I was living alone. I had and still do. I knew that my destiny was to be met alone and that his was not the same. It broke my heart when he left, but it was something I had to do. Anyway, one morning as I awoke I discovered that there was a lot of dried blood on the sheet, the blanket and the pillowcase. I immediately ran to a mirror to look at my body to see where the blood had come from. There was no evidence at all on my body. I stripped the bed and washed everything in the machine I had in the kitchen of the apartment. I then put everything on the clothes line on the terrace to dry in the heat of the sun, intending to use everything again. But as I took off all the bed linens from the line I realized that I cannot use anything again and that it all must be thrown out. Before I put it all in bags to throw out, with a scissor I cut everything up, for I feared that someone would find it all and use it. I telephoned my medium friend and told her what had happened. She asked me if anything from my apartment was missing. I told her that some durian (a fruit indigenous to Thailand), which I had left on the counter in the kitchen, was gone, and I knew I had not eaten it. She told me that I was visited by two of God’s 4 Messengers, not telling me the identity of the two.

I found out later on that both Lord Buddha and Jesus had come to my apartment. They took the durian, which is known as “the fruit of the gods” and left all that blood so that I would know of their visit. I told my friend that they could have left some other type of evidence instead of the blood, which frightened me.

I also told the psychiatrist the “ironing story.” I had purchased these expensive bed linens from a department store in Bangkok. After I washed them, being of the finest cotton, and after they dried they were very creased. Well, I could not sleep on creased linens, so I proceeded to iron them. My guide told me that any job I do I should do the best I can at it. It took me over three hours iron one sheet and two pillowcases. Three hours!!!! It was exhausting, but those bed linens looked beautiful.

I thought that after I told the psychiatrist all of these experiences and more, she would know that I needed intensive psychiatric treatment. Instead she shocked me. She asked what I knew about past-life regression. I responded that all I knew is that under hypnosis one is brought back to other lives lived. She arranged for me to see a past-life regressionist in Naples, Florida.

The doctor paid for my airfare, hotel, food, taxis and even gave me pocket money. She knew that it must be proven to me that I do, in fact, carry the soul of Nikko Shonin, for all that has been happening to me was due to the fact that I was chosen since I had Nikko’s soul. She told me that her dad had taken some courses in a school in Naples which was run by a past-life regressionist, and this was the man I was to see.

When I flew down to Florida, I had dinner that first night with her dad who asked if he could be
present during the past-life regression. I did not mind so I said, “Sure.” Now, mind you, the regressionist did not know anything about me. We, the psychiatrist’s dad and myself, were ushered into an office and I was asked to sit in a very comfortable recliner. The room became very dark, soft, light music was put on as was a tape recorder. Under hypnosis, I was brought back to my life as Nikko Shonin. I actually felt like this man. I remember feeling small pebbles under my feet and carrying a very large vat filled with water on my head. In this life, I have a dent in my skull, which is noticeable, as a result of the weight of the water. I remember bathing the feet of the Daishonin. I felt all of this, and it was incredible. This was the proof I needed. Even though I was uncertain, my psychiatrist was sure that I had been Nikko Shonin and that was the reason for her paying for my trip to Florida. I remember that as I walked out of the office my guide said, "Remember you are human. Always keep your feet planted firmly on the
ground.”

What is this Gohonzon that true Buddhists pray to? It was created by Nichiren Daishonin to reflect a life of pure happiness, the center of which is Nam Myoho-Renge Kyo. But what true Buddhists do not know is that Nichiren Daishonin is the one life God had on Earth. He was born of a fisherman and lived in Japan in the late 14th Century. Why did God choose that part of the world? For the most trouble that existed in the world at the time was in Japan. Of course, the Daishonin did not know his true identity. This was revealed to him just before he was to be decapitated and a comet went through the sky, scaring the man who held the fatal sword. At that moment, the Daishonin knew his true identity.

IF GOD COULD SPEAK, WHAT WOULD HE/SHE SAY

THE AUTHOR’S BACKGROUND

I was born on March 1, 1944 at 5:23AM. I was recently told the time by my “guide.” My childhood was spent in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, which is now called “The Odessa of America” because of all the Russian Jewish immigrants who settled there.

Born of a man who spent most of his life as a taxi driver and a woman who was a housewife, at the age of 5 I contracted poliomyelitis. In the hospital I was called “The Vunder Kindt” because supposedly I was the only child in Brooklyn who survived the 1949 epidemic. This happened 58 years ago, so my mind is very unclear as to thedetails involving this illness. I do know that for years thereafter my mother would take me twice a year to a hospital, once for X-rays and once for an examination. This continued until I was 16. It was only recently that my mom, who died some years ago, told me that doctors had informed her that the base of my spine was affected by the polio and that as I got older the degeneration of nerves would cause me problems.

For the past six months I have suffered with back pain, and the only relief I could get would be after I took Vicodin or Morphine. On this past New Year’s Eve, I prayed which is my custom at the end of every year. I never asked God for anything for myself but for others, but on the very last night of December 31, 2006 I asked that all my pain would be taken away. One hour later the pain was gone and has not returned.

I was the last of three children and the only boy. Both of my sisters were older than I am: one 10 years and the other 16 years. In fact, my eldest sister was more of a mother to me when I was a baby since I was her charge. I always thought that she resented this, but recently I discovered that her mission in this life was that as a “caregiver,” so her role in my life was set before my birth. I grew up hating my father. He treated me as if I did not exist, for both he and my mother were not prepared to have a third child. In fact, when the doctor told my mom she was pregnant with me she said that it was impossible. She was 37 at the time and my dad was 44. Looking back on those years, I am now certain that my parents knew I was a homosexual, but of course this was never discussed.

One incident I will never forget. In my late teens I often went to Greenwich Village, which in the late 1960s was a haven for “beatnicks.” I guess I was rebelling my life at the time. One night I went to a party and met a very handsome Afro-American. Whatever possessed me to give him my home address I will never know. The next morning, he rang the bell of my parents house. They were to visit one of my sisters that day, and so they left me alone with him. They never asked me who he was or what he was doing at the house. They knew but could not face the truth. It would have been so easy for me had they asked me if I were gay, for I would not have denied it. Before I met the woman who was to be my future wife, I often went to gay bars. In the early 1960’s homosexuality was looked at very differently than it is now. I remember walking back and forth in front of the entrance to the bar before I had the courage to walk in. I did not know what to expect. When I did bolster the courage to go in, all I saw were several men drinking and milling around. I always had a high self-esteem, so I was not worried about rejection, as most gay people do. I would casually walk over to a handsome man who was standing alone not talking to anyone, and I would start a conversation. In those days the “package” was more important than the inside of the “box.“ I was always a friendly person, and that man and I would have a nice conversation. I always left with the most handsome man in the bar, and not because I was handsome. Far from it. But I knew how to talk.

I was closest to my mom during my formative years, and she would spend money on me without telling my dad. Even though she had thought of getting an abortion, in those days it was dangerous and she was talked out of doing this by my dad’s sisters. Later on, she was glad she did not do that for she did love me, and I believe loved me more than she did my sisters. After all, I was the only boy!

I worked for the telephone company as a manager for 19 years; I married and 10 years later was legally divorced. I could not live a double life, and felt it unfair to my wife not being able to be a husband in the true sense of the word. During the time of marriage, my wife and I adopted a 2 year-old inter-racial boy, who the adoption agency had told us was “difficult” to adopt. In those days, a Caucasian couple adopting a “mixed” child was very unusual. In almost 30 years later, I really became to know my son during a time when he visited me. Prior to that visit I had not seen him for four years.

In the mid-1980s I was making a handsome salary, but I was never a “saver.“ Each time I realized how unhappy my life was, I would go to a department store and buy something, something a bit costly. And after each purchase, I was happy for so very short a period of time. This became a habit. But, when I decided to leave the United States to seek happiness and fulfillment in my life, I invited all my friends and family members to my apartment and told them to take anything they wanted. All those expensive items I had purchased meant nothing to me anymore.

One cannot find happiness through “a thing.“ I believe that men like the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, purported to be the richest person in the world, does not work to attain wealth and fame. He loves what he does, and the money is not such an important thing in his life. Another example is Ophra Winfrey, who, never forgetting her poor childhood, donates much money to worthy charities. At present, she is having built in South Africa a school for girls. She is very well aware that the future of the African continent will be in the hands of women.

Then my life, whatever there was of it, changed when I bought and sold my cooperative apartment in Manhattan. I had all this money to do what I wanted. Because I was not a happy person, I needed to find someplace in the world where I could find happiness, so, with all that “found” money, I decided to travel around the globe. I had done much traveling prior to that, but it was mostly in Europe or the Caribbean. So, I made a list of every country in the world I wanted to visit, submitted the list to a travel agent and in April, 1986 I was sitting in first class of a Quantas jet on my way to Papeete, Tahiti.

I will never forget the “bon voyage” party given for me at Kennedy Airport. So many of my friends and family were there. We drank champagne and they toasted to my success in my travels. But, now when I look back at that occasion I realize that each of them was angry for they all felt I was abandoning them. They all wanted me to stay a part of their lives, but what about my life? I had to find that one place in the world in which I would be happy.

After several months of traveling the South Pacific islands, Japan, Hong Kong, mainland China, I landed at Bangkok’s International Airport in October of 1986. I had planned to stay for only one month and continue onto Myanmar, but something happened to me in Thailand. I did not know at the time that the plan for my life which was set prior to my birth was that I would stay in Thailand 14 years, only to discover who and what I really am. I never got to Myanmar. Understand, that to me Thailand is the most spiritual country in the world. Most Thai people are Buddhist by faith, and it was there I discovered “True Buddhism.” Spirit houses abound
throughout Thailand, for the Thai believe that even in death the spirit needs
a place to rest.

I have discovered that nothing in life happens by coincidence, and so the day that I met an Italian man as I was reading in the open area housed with picnic tables at the apartment building in which I was living at the time was no accident. How we started a conversation about religion I cannot remember, but he told me that he is a true Buddhist and for some reason I discovered this to be very interesting. Throughout our life there are signposts leading us to our destiny, and this was a signpost for me. The next evening a Thai man and a Japanese woman came to speak to me about true Buddhism, of which I knew nothing. I did know that the belief in a Creator was against that religion, and since I believe in God I was not sure whether to continue the conversation or not. I was told that I can still believe in a Creator and be a true Buddhist, and I was told that in true Buddhism the members chant “Nam Myoho-Renge Kyo,” which years later I discovered to be the rhythm of this Universe. And our universe, like all others, is a living entity which beats to a specific rhythm. A person’s life is wonderful when he or she is in sync with the rhythm of this universe.

The following day I started to chant. If I can recall, I chanted for one hour
and afterward felt terrific. The Prozac I had been taking for 2 years I
stopped, and felt better chanting than I felt while I was on that drug. I
became very involved in true Buddhism, buying books written by Daisaku Ikeda, the President of Soka Gakkai, the lay organization for true Buddhism, reading the sutras of Buddha and understanding what I was reading. This was truly a wonderful time of my life. I became a member of a true Buddhist group in Bangkok, called “The Rainbow Group,” comprised of many nationalities of people living in Bangkok. We would meet once a month for discussion in addition to meeting for chanting purposes. I
remember one day I chanted for 12 hours. It was exhausting and exhilarating, both at the same time.

In November of that year, 1997, I was presented with the Gohonzon, which is the symbol of faith for all true Buddhists. I did not know at the time what the true significance of this mandala was, but I do now. It is God’s gift to mankind. Yet Soka Gakkai, the lay organization for true Buddhists, charge for one to have a Gohonzon in the United States. A friend told me that he wanted to become a true Buddhist and have a Gohonzon, but he could not afford to buy it. Why would there be a charge to have a gift from God? My Gohonzon was presented to be in Bangkok, and I was not asked to pay for it. Doesn’t that organization understand that it is doing more harm then good?

I had only been a true Buddhist for a very short period of time, and it was very unusual to be presented with a Gohonzon based on the time I was of the faith. But, once again, this was a signpost for me to follow. I learned the morning and evening prayers and did them every day, often having other members of the faith coming by to pray with me. To this very day, I still say those morning prayers, in addition to many others which were given to me by my “guide.” But now, if someone asks me what faith I follow, my answer is “All or none of them,” for I know they all are based on one concept which we call The Golden Rule. Yes, I believe in the Four Messengers God sent to Earth: Moses, Lord Buddha, the Christ and Muhammad. They all did their best but it was not good enough.

I have discovered that God had one life on Earth, and that life was Nichiren
Daishonin, the founder of true Buddhism. True Buddhists refer to Nichiren Daishonin as the “True Buddha of hon’nin myo” and it is he/she who is “parent, teacher and sovereign.” It is only right that all Buddhists should recognize the Daishonin as the Creator of this Universe. Yet, for some reason which escapes me, they do not consider “the” original energy of this universe as God (Nichiren Daishonin).

IF GOD COULD SPEAK, WHAT WOULD HE/SHE SAY

IF GOD COULD SPEAK, WHAT WOULD HE/SHE SAY?

Dedicated to Nick Amore, the true love of my life.

Those who read this book may decide that it is the ranting of one who should be committed for treatment at a psychiatric institution. The book is based on telepathic communication with the “other side.” Hence, any information cannot be proved at this time. None of what is written is the imagination of the author. Only in death will people understand the truth. It is expected that many people of all religions will be repulsed at what they read, but it is necessary to remember that all religions were created by man and not by God. This writer follows no religion; I say that I am either “all religions or none.” But, all religions are based on one thing: the Golden Rule.

My one surviving sister continues to think that I am “delusional.” I had written her an email and suggested that I visit her and her husband in Florida. I wanted to explain to her what I am going through in the hope that she would understand. I was not looking for her to accept it, but I wanted to convince her that I am not delusional. I waited a few weeks and never received a response. I sent her another email and this one she responded to, saying that she never received the original email. So, I re-sent it. She totally ignored ever having gotten it. My last email on the subject stated that I knew she was afraid, because in addition to talking to her about my life as it is now, I wanted to open up all communication with her since there had always been a “wall” between us. Perhaps she could not handle that. And now when we talk it is limited to “Hi, how are you?” “What is doing?” I will never be able to have a “heavy” conversation with her. Yet, her husband is so very different. We have shared much together; he understands me.

My brother-in-law wanted very much to be able to communicate with “the other side.” I wanted to help him in this endeavor. So, a few years ago I spent two weeks at the home of my sister and her husband. Every day I did my best, through a simple exercise which included light hypnosis, to have the barrier for him broken between the two dimensions. It could not be done because he has Parkinson’s Disease which does affect his brain. I did feel like a failure, but I could not do what became impossible because of his condition.

FOREWARD

The contents of this book approaches all serious topics, and because of this, in addition to changes in my life, my personality has been altered. This was pointed out to me during a conversation I had with a friend. For several years she and I had been very close, but I found recently that there was a distance created between us two. So, I telephoned her and said “I feel that our relationship has changed.” She said that I am not the person I used to be, that I find no humor in life any more and that I have become a very serious person.

In addition, she felt that when I could, I should add humor in this book whenever possible. I have given this much thought and realize that I cannot be false to myself and create humorous situations where none exist.

My life has changed, and not with the writing of this book. It happened well before I had decided to put down on paper all that I have learned from “the other side.” Is it because from the last time I had visited this friend I was hospitalized on three separate occasions? Is it because for days on end I do not leave my apartment? Is it because I am alone and very seldom have a friend visit? Is it because I can count on one hand the number of friends who are geographically close enough for me to see? Is it because the subject matter of this book is of a very serious nature? It seems that past friendships end because so very few understand me. I also tend to end friendships because I find I have nothing in common with them. I find that much of the conversations I have had with them are vacuous; there is no substance. The values which I have are so very different than their values. None of them were concerned about creating bad karma, its affect on this next life, which many do not believe they will have. Their world centers around their jobs, their families, their financial security. My life centers around God. My life centers around completing the mission I have for this life. My life centers around a deep concern about my next life.

My friend has a difficult life; yet she has the inane ability to find humor. She is the only one who has ever made my spirit guide laugh when she spoke with Him/Her through me. I told her that I would try to instill some passages in the book that would entertain the readers and put a smile on their faces. Alas, I do not feel that I can do that. Understand that it was not my decision to write this book; it was a request from “the other side.” The contents of this book is not entertaining, and that is not the purpose of my writing it. What I want to do is to make people aware, to help them to understand that which cannot be explained logically; to prepare them for what is to be - to be honest, truthful. The goal I seek in the writing is to give renewed faith and hope to all who read it. I want to say “Hang on. There are better days ahead. Never give up.” To you, my dear friend, I cannot do what you request of me. I have chosen a path of my life in which I can no longer find the humor I once had. Do I feel sad about this? I neither feel sad nor happy. Each of us has missions to achieve in our lives. The writing of this book is one of my missions - and I will achieve that mission to the best of my ability.

I do not seek fame or fortune as a result of the publication of the book. That is not, for me, the path to true happiness. Have I found “true happiness.” Yes, I have. You may wonder how I can be truly happy when I have no money right now, when I have no one in my life right now. Do I ever feel alone or lonely? Never! God is always with me, and as much as I love Him/Her, I know that that love is returned tenfold. I fear neither death nor life, but I try to make every minute of my life count. The one thing in life that money could never buy is one second of time passed. I am finding much pleasure in writing this book, and I know that even though many will scoff and laugh at its contents, that matters not to me. I have a message to deliver and deliver it I will, as best as I can do.

My friend gave Sylvia Browne as her example of her humor in her writing. But I have Ruth Montgomery, Alice Brady and Dolores Cannon as examples of writers who lacked humor but gave great substance to what they wrote.

At first, years ago when it was decided that I was to write a book, the contents were solely to include words from books, movies, plays, lyrics from songs, which gave the words of God and answered the question posed by the title of this book. But, the contents have changed, and the start will be the day I was born into this life. Toward the very end of this book, the answer the question raised in the title will be provided.
